The George Mason Chapter of SPJ seeks to protect the freedoms of the press and bring notable professionals in the journalism community to students. Lambda Pi Eta (LPH) is the National Communication Association’s official honor society at four-year colleges and universities. The George Mason Chapter requires at least a 3.5 GPA in all communication courses.
The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is the foremost organization for students interested in public relations and communications. PRSSA seeks to advance the public relations profession by nurturing generations of future professionals. With membership, I have gained industry knowledge through agency tours and guest speakers.
An international women’s fraternity founded October 15, 1898, by nine women at the State Female Normal School in Farmville, Virginia. As a sister, I had the opportunity to give back to my community with philanthropy events for Breast Cancer Awareness and Education.
This dance troupe has represented Mason at various dance competitions around the region, with numerous awards for their creative, diverse choreography.
